About Us
Garden Route Life & Investment Brokers had its roots as far back as 1973 when a small independent brokerage “Ian Knight Insurance Brokers” was formed. The name was subsequently changed representing our commitment to the Garden Route.
The Business has grown from a one man practice to one of the largest independent brokerages in the Southern Cape. The company has specialist divisions to assist with your specific insurance or investment requirements.

What kind of Insurance do you provide?
Garden Route Life & Investment Brokers c.c (FSP No. 15204) specialize in Life and Disability cover, income protection, pension and investment business – for commercial or personal needs.
Do you offer individually tailored investment plans?
Our particular preference are our risks profiled and mandated funds such as our Finsolnet Funds where 3 distinct risk profiles are accomodated:
CPIX – 2-3% – For the investor with a low risk tolerance. Ideal for retirement capital and an alternative to money market. Remains within Prudential Guidelines at all times.
CPIX – 4-5% – Has a higher exposure to equity and is considered for a moderate risk profiled intestor who can tolerate some volatility.
CPIX – 6-7% – For the investor who believes in the long term benefits of equity exposure and is not affected in the short term by market fluctuations. The funds have high exposure to equity both local and international.

Our specialized partners, Garden Route Health Care Consultants c.c will assist you with all your medical and health care needs. We are duly licensed in terms of FSCA requirements and as laid down by the medical schemes act.
